PATROL OFFICER: The Richmond Police Department is seeking professional and community oriented individuals interested in law enforcement. We are currently accepting applications for a Patrol Officer position. Applicants must possess a high school diploma, college level is preferred. Applicants must also be Missouri P.O.S.T. certified, have a good driving record, possess good communication skills, and be of good moral character. Lifeguard & Manager qualifications: Lifeguards must be at least 15 years of age and American Red Cross certified Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid or able to obtain certifications prior to May 25, 2012. Extra qualifications preferred: Water Safety Instructor certification. Managers must be at least 17 years of age. Concessions worker qualifications: must be at least 15 years of age and American Red Cross certified in CPR/AED and First Aid prior to first day of work.

FIREFIGHTER/EMT: The City of Richmond is currently seeking to fill a position as Firefighter/EMT. Qualified applicants must be highly motivated, energetic professionals.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: firefighting, medical care, rescue, hazardous materials work, operating associated equipment and apparatus; trains in the methods/techniques of emergency response and use of equipment/apparatus for the department, inspects/maintains equipment and performs fire inspections and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 years of age
High School Graduate or equivalent
Live within 5 mile radius of the City of Richmond
Possess a valid Missouri Drivers License with no restrictions
 Possess a driving record that demonstrates responsible and safe driving behavior
Physically able to perform the duties, an extensive Physical will be required

Preferred Qualifications:

 State Certified Firefighter I & II
 State Certified and Licensed Emergency Medical Technician
Operational Hazmat Certified

WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT: The City of Richmond, MO is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works position in the Wastewater Department. Qualified applicants should have electrical experience and possess mechanical ability, i.e., ability to make minor adjustments and repairs to operating equipment.
